Is the RIBO Level 1 course fully online?
Yes. The course is online and self-paced.

Basic includes 1 month, Standard 3 months and Premium 6 months.

No. Each plan is a one-time purchase for a fixed access period.

No previous experience is assumed in the way the course is written. It is designed to be understandable for learners who may be new to insurance.

Free Mock Exams & Flashcards

Are the mock exams really free?
Yes. Three RIBO Level 1 mock exams are planned as free public practice resources.

Each mock exam is planned with 115 multiple-choice questions: 100 scored questions plus 15 unscored pilot questions.

The mock result is based on the 100 scored questions, with 75 out of 100 treated as a passing result.

The free revision resource is planned with 260 flashcards across the five RIBO Level 1 sections.

No. The flashcards are a standalone free resource.

What payment methods are accepted?

Payments are planned through Stripe, with Apple Pay available where supported.

Eligible students who pass the official RIBO Level 1 exam may apply for a résumé review and may be considered for introductions to selected brokerages where relevant opportunities are available.

RIBO Exam & Licensing

Does My Insurance Academy register me for the official RIBO exam?

No. Course enrolment and official exam registration are separate.

RIBO currently describes the exam as three hours, with 100 scored multiple-choice questions plus 15 unscored pilot questions.

RIBO currently requires at least 75 out of 100.

You must secure qualifying employment with a RIBO-registered brokerage, meet RIBO’s eligibility and suitability requirements, apply for the licence and pay the registration fee.
